YLI Spring 2024 Launches at T.A. Thompson Junior High School

The ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Eta Psi Omega Chapter, are excited to announce the launch of our new session of the Youth Leadership Institute (YLI).

YLI is a youth-led and highly interactive leadership development program for ages 11-13 designed to empower and engage our community’s youth.

We kicked off with an informational session at T.A. Thompson Junior High School and shared with the newest cohort of students the goals of this student-led program.

About seventeen students were in attendance, and this year the program will be led by Ms. Tanyann Bowe.
